Gorgeous weather.
Here is the place where we stayed only three minutes from the local Legion Hall where the paintings were to be exhibited. We have found that it is always a good idea to arrive on the scene early so that there is time to check out potential subject and make absolutely certain that all necessary gear is at hand. At Mahone Bay a couple of years back I arrived on site with everything necessary except tubes of paint. This year looked unpromising in terms of weather since "showers" were forecast for the morning hours. May and I therefore carried rain gear in addition to the usual equipment. Having carried large tubes of paint from place to place in prior years, I invested in a couple of starter kits of acrylics since these tubes are always smaller and lighter in weight
