Fuschias: Day 4

Beginning painters may benefit from using a limited palette, but in the long term should get over it. There is, a lot of colour out there, and you cannot mix all the requisite variations by adding a bit a black or white. I am using five different reds for this one.

In point of fact...dump that black. It kills vibrant colour. Create the darker shades by mixing. In this case for the flowers reds with dark greens.

Doesn't look like much of a change from Day 2, but actually a lot has happened. Next photo features the grey rectangle seen in the upper left.
