AS a watercolourist, Mary is able to travel quite lightly and she packs very sensibly in one of those little air port styled trail-after-me luggage pieces. Neither of us use easels in the field. They do have to be carried. I pack all necessaries including water in a backpack, and both of us go on site with an light weight aluminum lawn cahir and in my case a small folding aluminum drink table. Mary puts her palette on a side table made of aluminum and canvas.
