The Reconstructed Lighthouse at Fort Point, La Have

Back on the mainland and a little further north we paused to have a look at another free local museum. One of the best at telling its story!
In 1632 this was the site of Fort Ste Marie de Grace the sinecure of Monsieur de Razilly who was an associate of Samuel de Champlain in this enterprise, and an enemy of Charles de La Tour at present day St. John New Brunswick. De razilly captured the Fort and the heart of his enemy's wife. Wow!
