Merydie Fjarlie's work station

This artist works, with considerable skill, using metal thread embroidery, dyes and paints on grounds, often of silk. She lives at La Have with "her husband Ken and golden retriever Tiller."

She says she is "largely self taught" but admits taking interior design at Ryerson Polythechnic and haute couture from L'Acadamie Coutrier Canadienne. She has work in the Museum of Civilization, the National Aviation Museum, which is more than some of us can claim.
