Christmas Morning Lunenburg, N.S., 2007

We had some monumental storms before Christmas. Because we are a bit south of the snow bely most of these came to us as freezing rain or rain, but we had accumulated 10 inches of the white stuff just prior to Christmas. On Christmas Eve it rained and this was the scene from our top floor window early Christmas morning. By mid day it was sunny. WE spent a brief time until mid-afternoon with Ruth's mum on Townsend Street and after that set out to fly tp Hamilton, Ontario for a visit with Rod's daughters. The Christmas Day flight was surprisingly full with only a few vacant seats.
